Born and raised in Gilroy, shop owner Arnold Tellez attended public schools and graduated from Gilroy High School in 1987…continuing his industry and post-secondary education at Arizona Vocational School and DeAnza & Evergreen Community Colleges. Since then Arnold has earned:
- 26 years Intensive Auto Mechanic experience with three well known independent local auto repair shops in both Gilroy and Morgan Hill, CA.
- 15 years Smog Technician – Licensed California Bureau of Auto Repair
- ASE Master Technician (automobile) – Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)
- Advanced Level Specialist (Engine Performance) Undercar Specialist

Continuing Automotive Education classes is an ongoing and vital part of Arnold’s expertise. “It’s how I maintain my edge in the auto industry,” says Arnold.
A family man, married (Cassandra) with three (3) children…Arnold has a variety of extracurricular activities he enjoys that range from working on his classic 1967 Chevy Chevelle…and taking it to local car shows in Silicon Valley area…Coaching Girls Fastpitch Softball and walking, hiking and biking.
Cassandra Tellez
Also born and raised in Gilroy, Cassandra (Arnold’s Wife) attended public schools there and Graduated from Gilroy High School in 1985. With several years experience in the retail industry, Cassandra has also attended automotive industry classes for management & service writing…and continues updating her skills with new classes as they become available.
Cassandra also enjoys exercising, walking & hiking, gardening and caring for her dogs.
Daniel Marquez II
Born in San Jose, CA…Dan grew up in Morgan Hill and graduated from Live Oak High School in 2003. Shortly after graduation, Dan moved to the the Phoenix, AZ area and attended Universal Technical Institute for intensive automotive training. He graduated from UTI in 2005…earning his Certification as Ford Master Technician.
The Ford Master Technician Certification is the highest level achievable by Ford technicians and it covers such skills as working as a trainer, the ability to prioritize difficult maintenance and providing diagnostics of complicated key systems.
Dan’s hobbies include fishing, skeet & trap shooting and camping.
